Summer Reading Program 2009

Summer Reading Program 2009
Read this summer and you will be entered to win a gift certificate to some of your favorite stores. Choose one of the following three options:

1. Keep track of the number of pages you read and when you reach 500 your name will be entered into the drawing for gift certificates.

2. Keep track of the number of hours you listen to audiobooks (not music) and when you reach 15 hours your name will be entered into the drawing for gift certificates.

3. Be creative and write some fan fiction for your favorite book. Minimum of 12 pages.
Fan fiction is stories about characters or settings written by fans of the original work.

The more you do the more times your name will be entered into the drawing. Good luck!

I Spy in Saugerties
Each week a picture and a clue will be posted online and in the library. When you have answered all 7 clues, bring your answers to the library or email them to tlydecker@saugertiespubliclibrary.org and be entered into a drawing for a prize! Deadline for submission is Saturday, August 22nd.

Teens will write creative and wacky stories one line at a time by adding on to what each other has written. The surprise will be in the twists and turns the stories take as they will only be able to see the previous sentence and the whole story will not be revealed until the end.
-If this sounds boring to you come anyway because I guarentee it will be fun! If not, we will do something else and eat cookies!
